The SPC+ membership is completely FREE for eligible CIBC student and youth clients! Instead of paying the standard $11.99 annual fee for a regular membership, your premium SPC+ access is included as an exclusive perk of banking with CIBC.
How do I register for an SPC+ membership?

First, create your standard SPC account. Once you are signed up, head to the Free SPC+ page and follow the steps that apply to you:
- Existing CIBC clients: Click "I'm a CIBC client" to verify your status via CIBC Online Banking.
- New to CIBC: Browse the eligible student accounts on the Free SPC+ page and choose the one you want. Click "Unlock your CIBC offer" to be securely redirected to CIBC to apply for the account and verify your SPC+ membership.
Can I buy an SPC+ membership directly without a CIBC account?

No, SPC+ is an exclusive benefit created through a partnership between SPC and CIBC. It is strictly reserved for eligible CIBC student and youth clients and cannot be purchased directly out-of-pocket. However, if you do not bank with CIBC, you can still sign up for a standard SPC membership to access everyday student deals!
Do I have to renew my SPC+ membership every year?
